And that's all the Prius is good for is fuel mileage.

    Best-selling vehicle
    Ford F-series truck
People in other countries have trouble understanding this peculiar fact about America. In other places, you have to pay people to drive trucks. Here, we actually like driving them. Lots of them. In fact, the best-selling passenger vehicle in America isn't a car. It's a pickup. As it has been for more than a decade, the top selling passenger vehicle is the Ford F-series truck.

Yeah, the shock would have been if Prius wasn't the best in fuel economy. But the other two .... I absolutely agree with the "best loved" - I would buy another in a heartbeat (if I needed another car). And "most reliable" is music to my ears. :)

Isn't it amazing how powerful fear and advertising are?

That's because they only included categories people care about.

    Sign o' the time, Horse.
A couple years ago most car commercials were all about horsepower, 0-60 times and power. These days most commercials mention mileage and fuel efficiency. Even alternative fuels.

Just a sign o' the times.

"F-series" is an interesting classification. The F-150 is the most popular, but it also includes the F-250 and F-350. But the series continues to F-750 (think U-haul trucks and the like) - are they part of the "most popular passenger vehicle" lineup?

Warhorse: What's that gadget on the hood of the Prius in your avatar? Did you add that ala Adobe Photoshop, or is it a real thing? Looks like the intakes high school kids used to put on hotrods. Is there some connection between that gizmo and your question about sports cars?
