I've looked into this extensively a couple times and talked to a number of lift-kit sites and shops. There are no kits and no parts known to be made, tested or marketed for the Prius. No one I have found will touch it yet.

Airbags would be overkill-expensive but at this point if there was an airbag available I'd probably go for it.

A strut setup with front-clearance adjustments under the front hood would be all I need for the trails I drive to. No luck there either.

Even a set of spacers to permanently jack the car up would be fine. I could see doing a 1/2" set or a 1" set with the existing or the touring suspension, or a 1.5" or 2" set with the TRD setup, which lowers the car 1". I can't even find these spacers.

I've also looked into stiffer springs that would at least not lower the car. The touring suspension is the only thing I've found, it has some minimal improvement in stiffness without lowering.

Yeah lift kit, and maybe taller tires. I hate it when the front end sleds up on top of a snow drift and there I sit with the wheels in the air! I might guess the struts aren't unique to the Prius and there is a 1" spacer kit to fit between the strut tops and the chassis on all 4 corners? Front plastic? What's that? I ain't got no stinking front plastic left or lower grills fog lights etc. She's got 190K hard miles on it now.

Seems like my dad used HiJackers back in the day. He would ocationally carry really heavy stuff in the trunk of his Mercury. The air shocks could be pumped up for more lift.

Perhaps a stiffer spring exists from a different make-model vehicle that is form fit compatible with the Prius.

Look up Tema 4x4. They make a kit for the Gen 2 and 3. My kit is on order for the gen 2. It’s 138.00 and is pure bolt on.
