My best friend really misses his. He overran his lease and was paying weird extra fees, he wanted to keep it. I counseled him against keeping it mostly because there are so few and the training is thin... they just weren't going to age well, even where he lives in Los Angeles.

Somehow he got into an Acura RDX and was most horribly reamed on fuel costs for some time. Has since leased a pluggy RAV4.

For a little while he and another buddy of mine were both driving the Ford Fusion pluggers. They got me interested but the car was cancelled before my interests or needs got to that point.

1980's or 90's Trans-Am. Those old cross plane V8's always sound beautiful.

Jaguar XJ12, had it figured for a 1990.

Hood was down, so I'm assuming the release cable broke.

Gen1 Prius can be hard to spot since it does not have a unique look.

The two swooping creases on the hood, and the battery vent on the left C-pillar, are sure ways to ID it.

A true empty soda can ... 1990's-ish no air bags geo metro. Pulled up behind it in a newish ¾ ton diesel pickup. Like a toddler standing in front of it, it disappeared below the hood. A guy I worked with over 30 years ago had one. Forgot how fragile those things look. Thought they'd all gone the way of the Yogo.

My grandmother owned a dark red Metro for a long time, I was still little when she replaced it with a first gen VW New Beetle. She always favors little cars (she's very petite herself) and she loved that Bug until she couldn't drive anymore. Thankfully she doesn't need to drive these days.

    This past week:

    • BMW M4 Competition
    • Alfa Romeo Brera Spider

At the auto show, saw the Lamborghini Revuelto, SSC Tuatara and several Bugatti Veyrons.

Saw this, pretty clueless about Toyota history though.

Not sure if still true, but the Crown has its own emblem(can see it on the grill).

    It never was.

All the Toyota models had their own insignia in Japan, even the Corolla.

Saw a Cadillac Fleetwood (guess one of the last ones. Looks 90s) with collector plates

Also, I’m not entirely sure but I think I saw a Porsche 356 convertible with a luggage rack. It was mostly below the oncoming lane barrier so I couldn’t tell. Perhaps any classic car aficionado can confirm help me identify it. It looked 1950s style.
