Whenever the temperature drops to within a few degrees of freezing, I get a warning about icy conditions.
In this country, that's like half the year. I wish I could turn it off, but I don't know how.

I blame Steve Jobs, he started the trend away from giving the customer what they want.

I don't get it, but I think I'm being ridiculed.

It’s tiresome, when you start the car and look away for a second, and you get the please pay attention message, and you have to click okay

You can turn that off, it was probably the first thing I did when I brought the car home.

The guy is ranting about Steve Jobs to a confused McD employee who is afraid to say anything.

I'm getting used to all the workarounds, but I wish I didn't need them. The remote start from the app will fail every time, unless I lock the doors remotely, even if they are already locked. I always have to remember to lock the doors before remote starting.

And the remote start says I'm limited to 2 remote starts, but it is in fact only one.
I don't see why it needs to be limited at all.

You get two if you do the second before the first expires.

It's limited to prevent co poisoning from cars in attached garages and to help prevent engine damage if the water pump, oil pump, thermostat or cooling line failed.

Actually, if you take that mentality to its logical conclusion, the safest option would be not to start the car at all, to prevent any chance of traffic accidents.
