I just bought an old prius having 340K mileage.

After driving it about 3 week, I am receiving ABS + (!) sign on my dashboard. Sometimes only (!) appear.
Those signs disappear after few hours and comeback again. What could be the issue? ABS works when dashboard has no sign, it doesn't when sign lights are on

    - Should I change Wheel sensor?
    - Or actuator? (Scared about this one)....

    - What I noticed was, on bumps it usually turns on. or on turning wheel full left or right. (it's my assumption so far)

Get the codes with the blink business or use it decent scanner that has an ABS button most of them will read the Prius ABS codes I've noticed innova branded cheapo scanners will. But if you were in a hurry and didn't have all this access immediately just looking to see if your wheel sensors are in fact plugged in and the wire runs up where it's supposed to and plugs up and it's not frayed been slung out by a wheel or movement . And if all that checks out then you're back to getting the codes and doing whatever If you immediately see one of these wires snapped parade dangling well there you go usually with this model car and especially in the mileage range you were in this probably should have already happened but apparently not usually it's a one-time deal in this model the car is long gone if there's going to be a second time unless you're using used actuators of course

I do have a scanner, but it isn't showing any code. I'll try visiting a mechanic if they can get a code out of their scanner.

If you are interested in buying a better scanner for your Prius, look at post #1 and then scroll down to post #37 in this thread, https://priuschat.com/index.php?posts/3246758
The Autel AP200 is a very good choice.

I followed the suggested diagnostic approach.

    Hi

    ABS Error Code: 42
    (!) Error Code: 47

Another observation that I just observed.
those signs appear after 3-4 hours of driving. then they will disappear after 30-45 minutes.

As you already saw on our blink codes page, the 42 on the ABS light is just directing you to the ECB ((!)) light where the interesting code is.

The C1247 (blink code 47) on the ECB light reports an issue with the brake pedal stroke sensor. There are several three-digit detail codes that you would be able to see on a suitable scan tool, and they could help pin the issue down more narrowly. You can see them in this repair-manual excerpt, which also has troubleshooting tips:

Thank you for being so helpful!!!!

I went to the mechanic today. He received C1247 code - Stroke Sensor.
I read the document. What is hand held testor?
I tried searching online for this part, couldn't find it
Is the part number correct? 89510-47010.

The "hand held tester" was the scan tool Toyota dealers used to use. These days they have a laptop running their "global techstream+" software. Just an OBD-II scan tool that can communicate with everything in the car.

This may be caused by a warped front rotor.
