Since this post, I have learned that there is only one DC to DC charger in the gen 5 Prius. Its located in the engine compartment as an integral part of the inverter. It charges the 12v battery in the READY mode & in the the Traction Battery charge mode (from 120vAC power).
Only what's in this thread: WeberAuto: 2024 Prius Prime PHEV Low-Voltage Charging System Testing | PriusChat Professor Kelly demonstrated the main DC-DC converter operating and charging a low 12V battery while traction battery charging. And a bit more digging around the manuals led me to conclude that there is no longer a second converter, after all.
