Has anyone installed these on their Gen 5?

It seems pretty straightforward other than the lack of pnp OEM connector.

I'm just wondering if anyone has done this cleanly and reversible.

I've fitted the genuine Lexus twins to replace the 'meep meep' original one and they're fantastic.
Not sure about the FIAMM ones but anything is better than standard....

Hey there, is this a plug and play or it requires other things as well? Cheers!

The kit comes with everything you need(plus a few little things you don't).

There are a few different part numbers that work. I ended up with 08522-B1010. It's a JDM part number, so you order it from an ebay dealer or an importer.

    What you use:
    1. Horn(High)
    2. Horn(Low)
    3. Bolt (car already has a threaded hole for a second horn)
    4. Harness splitter
    5. Zip ties and adhesive mounts

Remove the trim cover(some push clips - need a small flat tip screwdriver or similar to pop them out).
    Unplug old horn.
    Unbolt old horn.
Adjust mounting point on both new horns to fit car(loosen a bolt, rotate mount, tighten bolt).
Bolt in horn #1 with old bolt.
Bolt in horn #2 with new bolt.
Plug in splitter to harness and both horns.
Use zip ties and mounts to secure the wiring.
    Reinstall trim cover.

Takes maybe 10 minutes. By far the easiest upgrade I've done. Maybe the cheapest. The kit price varies from $50-$80 depending on the seller.

    Agreed.
Make sure the horns are pointing down too, in case of water ingress through the grille

I might just shell out for the Lexus kit and save the other kit for my other car. I don't feel like splicing wires on a new car yet.

I installed the Lexus ones discussed in this chat. Absolutely love them.

Awesome. I know manufacturer's will try and reduce costs for the bigger percentage gains, but that horn fitted to a £37k car was bordering on dangerous
    Oh, and extremely embarrassing

I installed these on my 2017 Gen4. My not sure if I want to void any warranties on my 2024 Gen5 yet. They do work great. You go from meep meep to sounding more like a SUV.
