Disney really liked GM, eh? I guess Ford wasn't too happy about that lol. I bet Disney gave GM quite a bit of business based on what you said @hill. Can't deny that GM has been a good manufacturer overall, and that's not just cars (many railroad workers will tell you old GM/Electro-Motive diesel locomotives were unparalleled for reliability). My family has a 1999 Chevy Suburban that we bought used awhile ago now, but it still runs great. Old GM trucks are pretty hard to kill.

On the Crown Signia, all of the badges in the back are removable, except the Toyota badge/logo, which has posts and holes in the sheet metal.

    SM-G781V ?

I think the Camry oned are removeable too. The Camry likely has the same front logo as the Crown Signia since the car has the new "hammerhead shark" design. **sigh**

A minute ago I saw my first Mirai. It was quieter than I expected (it drove by me in a parking lot), and also a lot bigger. I guess hydrogen tech takes up more space because it seems bigger than a Camry. Not sure I like the looks either.

I saw a Crown this morning. And every time I hear the name, this is what I think of, mainly because a nearby rental house had about 10 tenants, all doing door-dash, and they had a motley collection of vehicles, more than a few right-hand drive, including a black, older Crown. This morning's:

They complied with changes needed for RHD cars in Canada? I think. at a minimum, headlights are aimed totally differently and likely would need to be replaced.

Two unique cars in one day! Just saw a Lucid Air. Not the most handsome but better than Tesla in my opinion.

Not sure. We're evidently VERY lax here in BC. There "are" rules on the books I'm sure, but just looking at whats rolling down our streets, you wouldn't know. Lots of late model cars with no daytime running lights, and BC plates.

I would guess CA reg's may be lax .... in that we've spotted several asian micro vans sporting Canadian plates - when they come south - visiting Flathead Valley Montana.
Lots of utility, with the resilience of a beer can.

Yup here in California regs are somewhat lax on certain things. I live in San Diego County and you will see most drivers here don't run DRLs (and there are some fools that do at night with no other lights) or front license plates. While I think both are "required" I've never seen an instance where someone was called out for the lack of a front plate.

LOL I think @hill meant Canada, not California. I did a double-take too.

Lol. At least my post made sense for that topic though. My brain is wired to see the good ol' state abbreviations in these instances so my apologies to the Canadians.

More like spotted this past week:

    Pontiac G8

    Cobalt SS Coupe

    1st gen Geo Tracker 2-dr

LR Defender Series I. It had two country decals - South Africa (ZA) and New Zealand (NZ) at the back. No idea if it was actually registered in those two countries or the current/previous owners stuck those on for fun but the vehicle is clearly well travelled.

After 15 years, no requirements AFAIK except DRLs and French labels if at all. Basically it's much more relaxed if the car is older than 15.

Not all provinces will register RHD cars but BC and Ontario seem to be two that do.

    Ineos Grenadier.

No, they aren't that uncommon but it was weird in context because it was parked in the repair lot of a very downbeat local garage. The rest of the lot was 20 year old Avalanches, Altimas and Malibu MAXXes.

I've yet to see a Grenadier with private plates. Everyone I've seen on the road has dealer plates. It was at the auto show last year so got to sit inside and poke around. @Mendel Leisk would've loved it with all the buttons and switches on the console and overhead console.

I love that rugged utilitarian styling, just not the price.
