No need to buy a special adapter for a hook drive crank scissors jack.

Use a 1/4 hex to half inch drive socket adapter and a proper sized socket. That's all.

What size socket did you settle on?

I liked Honda's style, much more stable:

I bought one of these adapters, around $12. Works well and I don't have to worry about losing a socket out of my set, or wearing the socket plating off the inside of the socket.

There's not much wear, if you use the correct sized socket.

I can always go to the crank handle without using two wrenches to remove a commercial adapter.

That's $12 I didn't need to spend and saved. I already had the socket.
