Sorry for the lame title. I couldn't think of exactly how to word what I hear is happening. Basically Tesla sales are dropping all over the world. This video mentions several places in Europe but it seems in California and perhaps the whole USA are also buying far fewer Teslas. Is this just a small dip or is this the beginning of the end of Tesla or something in between?
The second topic is about Tesla's decline. Any car manufacturer faces both sales declines and increases.
The difference is when Ford Tesla stellatis GM have an uptick, the haters are defined where they don't gleefully acknowledge the increase. Therein lies the irony. When you have meteoric rise, the tapering off or even slow down can be used against you. isn't there another thread already started about this days ago? The search tool can be your friend. .
If you have the time, this thick biography explains a lot: bullied in school - learned to counter punch, hard amoral father - hated but set an example about rules and customs Aspergers - insensitive to others, a form of autism or 'idiot savant' children by four women (last count) son transgendered to daughter - he blames the California schools avid computer gamer - plays in a synthetic world of instant actions and no blood and pain Twitter/X cesspool of postings - lots of fantasies Small wonder the "Department of Education" was high on his chopping block. Trying to address individual issues: no longer own any of Tesla's stock Sold my Tesla stock to buy a home solar project: (1) Musk is distracted; (2) no dividends on Tesla stock, and; (3) solar roof will save ~$1,000/year in electric costs to charge my EVs. Can't do corn, too much sugar. Bob Wilson
Definitely the downside of corn carrots & potatoes is their high carb count. We do beans (costco raised beds), as they have great storage life expectancy as well as needed fiber. Nothing worse than finding your 8 month old potatoes looking like the Medusa
Some of the greatest success stories in humanity are among people with huge flaws. Back when Roosevelt (speaking of leadership with issues) was crippled by polio - his adversaries didn't try use that against their administration. Even the morality ones. Modernly ? Not so much. Most voters shows because they perceive the lesser of two evils. Hopefully in 4 years we can have folks to vote for that do great administratively, politically & morally. In the meantime, undoubtedly the nastiness of editorializing will continue on both sides. Nothing new Under the sun.
But Roosevelt was elected by the people, mung is the de facto president, inserting himself where he doesn’t belong
I sure liked Volkswagens, but that doesn't mean I liked Hitler. And I'm not saying that Elon Musk is like Hitler either, just that I can appreciate technology without viewing it from a political perspective.
Due to our age, we've never been in a position where the purchase of a Volkswagen would've benefited Hitler. And it's not just us; over 99% of the Volkswagens ever built were done after Hitler's death. So if we carry forth the idea that terrible people can develop great ideas, we should reflect on the thought that the best and biggest parts of those projects seem to happen after they've been separated from those flawed individuals.
Don't know how this is gonna sit with most anyone contributing to this rather interesting turn of events. It's par for the course in my view of international intrigue, national policy, and budget restraints or the lack there of, all wrapped up in a single battle cry. Say what you will about my take but something smells odd in the kitchen, Is it time to jump on the new chuck wagon. As Tip used to say as Speaker in the early 80's "wheres the beef' at?
Seems like there's a lot of hate hope that this is how it'll go. Other M.Y. owner's stickers may say they bought it BECAUSE of him. That particular nuts & thought-based idea is based on how the election went.
