I would search Amazon and read through the reviews.

I can't help you with specifics because I was looking for struts with a shorter stroke to limit the hatch from opening up high and hitting our garage door when in the open position overhead.

The genuine Toyota are probably best bet. That said, ours started weakening within a few years of ownership. Looking up the above part numbers I see mention of them being revised, hopefully improved longevity. A just across the border from me (in Canada) shows them at $35 USD apiece.

I went with a Priuschatters recommendation, got thiese through Rock Auto:

    Strongarm STRD7088

For $10.02 USD apiece, plus $13.99 shipping, to my Canadian address.

Initially they were too strong on the uplift, not insanely so, and I accomodated by keeping a hand on the hatch as it went up. That was about a year back, and they seem to have mellowed.

Once Canada becomes the 51st US state, shipping charges will drop.
