QWERTY Bug?

That configuration setting is only for the NAV system - if you check, you will find the keyboard that comes up for navigation address entry is now QWERTY. I believe that the settings screen where you chose this does make some reference to the NAV system.

Unfortunately, the phone seems to be a separate system that does not pay any attention to this setting. There does not seem to be any way to change the phone book keyboard to QWERTY.

It bothered me when I first saw this. I chalk it up to one of the rough edges in the car's user interface. Seems like an outright mistake.

This is not a bug it is a "feature" ! :lol: I hate it when programers decide what is "best" for me.

Yea, if it were up to the programmers it would be in binary, or maybe hex if you were lucky.
