I'm not sure how these systems are calibrated, but that's the problem. First thing you can try is to disconnect the 12v battery for a few minutes, which will reset the whole car to original settings when it rolled out of the factory. Next step would be to go through any settings available on the dash related to this. Then next step would be checking out the settings available in Toyota Techstream running on an old laptop.
