I am a pro at refurbishing headlights but these are toast.

Are any of the replacement units found on Ebay or Amazon worth a dime or are they all garbage?

No interest in opening headlights or going halogen at all.

    Thanks.

You want original Stanley housings . Usually these clean up really well so I don't know what you got going on The lenses usually easily pull off if need be and they can be cleaned and buffed and sanded and urethane and whatever you want and make them almost new again replacements are generally pretty cheap junk unless you can find new all stock originals and people will be trying to sell those for top dollar to $300 a pop.

I've bought lots of pairs of aftermarket Gen2 Headlights on Ebay over the years... Some of them have been flawless, some of them have been junk. Main challenge is the tabs where the healdlights are bolted down stick out in awkward ways during shipping if they use a really small box and I've too often done returns on those tabs being busted off when I opened the box up. That's why I like Ebay... I've never had a problem with refunds because of their seller reputation tracking effort, as well as free insurance up to $300 for purchases gone wrong. So even if the seller won't give you a refund, ebay will.

Thanks...I have sanded many headlights but I went way too harsh with these and have sanding scratches that cannot be removed. I then put on 2x clear instead of 2k clear and everything faded quickly.

I agree with you 100%. In fact it's easier to deal with Ebay than Prime these days. They want you to go through multiple hoops and drive all across town to get things returned. Used to be free UPS pickup and now it's $7.50. UPS and Amazon issue causing that charge or so they claim but that should not be a consumer issue. Now they even removed Kohl's and CVS from my local dropoff options.
