I've never seen this before. I'm in the market for a used Gen 5 Prius and a used dealer in my hometown has this listed.

I've never seen the rear "Prius" look like this, and I feel like I've seen a ton of Prii through the buying process. Any idea what

Guess the previous owner customised the car?

Yeah, previous owner removed the letters and moved them closer together and down. Looks terrible IMO.

They also removed the trim level badging. Guess they wanted to hide it was an LE.

why do people care so much about "hiding" they have a particular trim? Like, you're buying a fuel efficient commuter car. Who cares?

My thought is that only person should care about what car you drive, and that's you.

Why do some people completely debadge their car, or mount badges of different brands?

I prefer the letters mounted closer than spread out.

Jinxes the sales prospects too; you start asking yourself "what else did they do...".

The LE doesn't have any "trim level badging".

My bad. I knew the XSE Premium didn't have special badging, but I didn't know about the LE.

I don't understand Toyota sometimes. The SE has badging but the LE doesn't. And the Limited has its own badging, but the XSE Premium is just badged as a regular XSE.

I still stand by my opinion that the bunched up Prius letters are ugly. It's not about how the name looks itself, it's about what it does to the rest of the rear end. For whatever reason, the word that comes to mind is dumpy.

My new Prius Prime SE , i got it october 16. Already 2000 km. (1200 miles)
only 37 liters of gas (less than 10 gallons) . So far so good i am pretty happy with the car,
i was not sure if i would like it never had an hybrid or an electric car before. Two weeks ago i debadge it
because i like it enough to keep the car.
