Has anyone taken their vehicles to the dealer for the recalls?

It's been long time ago now, but I definitely had three recalls performed: 1) the steering nut issue, 2) the engine ECU (cold start delay), and 3) cleaning and sealing the nuts on the HV battery bus bar.

They gave a print out EPS Gear Kit part # 04001-31147 and Link Set Electric part # 44200-49055

Update I got my car back from the dealer from the recalls. I received a new rack and pinion. The car steering is smooth now.

Does the steering nut issue cause the car to pull to the left or right sometimes when on the highway?

I don’t remember any steering symptoms in my ‘02 before the recall. Wandering off-center might indicate an alignment issue.

hmm would a missing lug nut in one of the front wheels cause drift?

I just had a missing lug nut and bolt and was wondering if it could cause the wheel to not rotate fully straight. And don't believe the car has had a recall repair before.

My guess is yes, esp. since our cars have only four nuts/studs per wheel.

I don't know. My car didn't pull, but when was parking the steering felt pretty tight especially when parallel parking. If it pulls to one side that probably would be you need a wheel alignment.
