    All the rest are 195s.

I got a flat tire yesterday on my 2007 Prius on the front drivers side and the only spare tire I had was a 185/65/15 tire. Took it to get fixed and instead of fixing it (tread too low), I had them replace the 195/65/15 with a 185/65/15 tire.

NOW, the Prius is pulling to the left when I drive because of the smaller-width tire (maybe its something else though).

My Three Options (or more if you suggest another)

    1. Should I get another 195/65/15 (Michelin Defender 195) and replace the front driver's side with this new tire?

    2. Should I replace the passenger-side front with a 185/65/15 (I have another 185/65/15 spare)

    3. Should I put the 185/65/15 on the rear & will that fix the car from pulling left? (aka swap a rear 195/65/15 for the front 185/65/15)

The middle number you did not include makes a difference in circumference.

Obviously they should be the same size, brand and wear to drive perfectly.

OK. I'll edit the original post.

    thanks.

    I put a 185/65/15 on instead of the 195/65/15

Your traction controller VSC light or skid control lines should be lighting up quite a bit and keeping you from getting to 60 miles an hour or trying to feels different You can't have mismatched tires on the Prius can't happen I've tried every ways to Sunday there's nothing you can reset nothing you can do I don't know why because I guess the hubs are pretty sensitive or what the hubs are reading something The larger tire goes farther than the tires on the rest of the car etc reeks havoc on the system so that needs to be fixed directly All four tires need to be the same three numbers 185 65 15 was factory You want to go 195 6515 they all have to be that size and that's the long and the short of it

So it’s 2.1% smaller circumference which causes your issue.

... and the unanswered question is, why?

So you have 195's on 3 corners and a 185 on one corner?

    OK.

I have two Prius'. A junked one sitting in my backyard and a the working one I drive. I suppose what's going on is that I've gotten a flat (my working car has over 300K miles) and just replaced the flat-tire thinking it wouldn't make a difference.

So this is the reason for the mismatch. not proud of it and next time I get a set of tires (either 185s or 195s) I'll throw out the spares I don't need.
