Vent Problem

    Hi everybody, I am having an issue with a 2013 Prius V where the fan vents only blow through the centre vent even when the screen shows it is in defrost mode or on the feet. Ran a HVAC diagnostic and no trouble codes? Any help is appreciated thank you.

    sounds ike the vent doors aren't moving. can you hear anything in the dash when changing modes?

    Yes I can hear the motor (or whatever controls the air direction) clicking.

    there are lots of threads here on the problem. some vent doors can be accessed from the bottom of the dash i think, but most you have to tear the dash apart. i haven't done it myself

    Hey Bisco,
    Slightly off-topic, but I'm a bit fuzzy about this rat-nibbled hole above the cabin air filter (Black air filter visible below the hole, with the cover unsnapped) . . . What is it about, or should it even be there at all? (And which damper is just above it?) 2012 Prius V
