I have the LED xenon double low beam projection lights. There are technically 3 bulbs not the 2 on most cars. On the driver side the low beam two smaller projection bulbs stopped working. Code B2430 All other lights have power. I checked for voltage on what I think is its source, 3 pin triangle connector. No power. I am not not sure how to remove the bulbs if necessary. Its no trick for me to remove the front bumper and headlight assembly. I'm just trying to figure out if the computer/ ballast has gone bad or the bulbs? There was a lot of condensation trapped inside the housing. I do have another headlight to replace all the one that is not working. Before i replace it tho I will replace the lens cover and butyl tape to solve my leaking problem. Has anyone ever replaced the xenon low beam bulbs? I can't find anything online on how to do that!

I think you have to buy the whole plate that has the bulbs and all on it that snaps into the back of the housing or something along those lines I don't think the aftermarket has this cover yet so you're stuck with the dealer I do believe.

I'm wondering if there is a relay or fuse for the low beam projection lights in the fuse box engine compartment. Since I didn't find voltage on that 3 pin connector but voltage on every other plug means the ballast is working. With the condensation i can suspect blowing a circuit? There is one B2430 youtube video that shows a schematic but the guy isn't speaking English.

Either way you will need to download a copy of the service manual electrical portion to have a look at It's available all over the net generally speaking I haven't personally looked but I've been told by others and other countries that own this vehicle that the only option to fix this is with the dealer generally unless you have a blown relay or a fuse which should be pretty evident All the relays in the fuse boxes on these cars are marked pretty clearly under the hood of the fuse box so anything pertaining to the headlights left and right and all of that should be pretty clearly marked I wouldn't think they would have to upgrade the electrical system very much to run LEDs from a regular halogen car so shouldn't be a whole lot of huge changes I wouldn't think other than for the switching and that sort of thing possibly. I knew when I saw a generation 3 with these lights these could be problematic generally shouldn't be but if it happens to you you are pretty well screwed near a thousand bucks or whatever something so I kind of wait for the stuff to kind of sort itself out You see the aftermarket hasn't picked these up yet so looks like it may not happen I wonder if you could in a pinch put a regular Gen 3 halogen single projector setup temporarily just to be legal?
