Oof. The car already has bad ground clearance. Now it has no ground clearance. Looks kinda nice though.

The car has an Airlift Performance system(remote controlled air shock pressure adjustment system), and Air Struts.
So, the height can be varied by amount the user desires.
If desired, the car can be at stock height, higher ground clearance, or lower ground clearance.
Or, as shown in a photo, the Airlift system can lower the car so much, the side-skirts are touching the ground (of course, not practical for driving :)).

I also like the Modellista areo kit, especially the rear for the Prime.

It’s on air suspension. That’s how I park it. No way I’ll be able to drive around that low

Nice mods. I suppose that suspension setting will keep the catalytic converter thieves from messing about under YOUR car. LOL

I agree that the catalytic converter is protected when parked AND that the car looks good BUT just how much was spent for these mods? Just asking. :)

I didn't originate the post on the prius modifications. I suspect they were added, at great expense, to make the Prius look more attractive and more sporty/custom. They sell an inexpensive remote controlled alarm that detects when the car is jacked up (so the thief can get under the car to steal the convertor) and should scare off a would-be thief. The kit costs less than $40

What are the details of the alarm, ie: make, model number & where to purchase. Thanks.
