Random Electrical Connector Unplugged Behind Passenger Headlight

    So I found an electrical connector that is not plugged in under the hood. It has very little slack and I don't see anything nearby that it could plug into. [​IMG]


    It's basically behind the passenger side headlight, just above a metal bracket which holds 2 yellow and white plastic connectors in place. Here's a wider shot of the location.

    Does anyone know what this connects to? Or could it be an extra connector for fog lights or some feature my car doesn't have? Thanks

    my guess is a feature you don't have

    If you're curious enough, take a good look at its shape and the color coding of the wires entering it, and look it up in the Electrical Wiring Diagram, as you see done in this example.

    Nice one, thanks!

    I'm surprised that a bare connector would just float around the engine bay without a terminator if its for an option I don't have. But I have seen it before. Maybe the other end of the wire is not connected either...
