Live and learn. Ever notice how close to lying rental agents can be about company policy, rental agreement, reimbursement amount if returned early, insurance and what it actually covers and supervisors attitudes. Ever talked on the phone to a rental companies tech support?

But it's all because of the EVs(actually, issues with mostly the Teslas).

 

I once had a car rental company come through on a promise ... eventually ....

 

It's a CAR rental company.
We're not exactly talking about Boeing Aerospace here.

If they go under somebody else will be operating out of their airport kiosk before the cleaning crew gets a chance to empty the trash cans.

Frankly, I think that their biggest problem IS electric.

or renting EV's to drivers that don't know anything else about EV's except maybe how and or where to plug them in when the battery pack gets low on charge. If the driver even knows how or where to do that before renting it. Than there is Ube R. Hello.

 

Would love to hear the other side of the story -
from Car Rental Store Employees talking about what a nightmare the people they encounter are.

Watching at the Airport I seen some customers that must come from outer space as to how they communicate and treat other humans.

Anyone who has a job interacting with the general public these days deserves a gold star.
Probably 80% of people are wonderful the other 20% are absolute nightmares - and it seems that number is growing.

 

i'd like to be a fly on the wall when someone from the division of motor vehicles goes to rent a car, or vice versa

 

The thing with hybrids 20 years ago were that you could drive them like an 'ordinary car.'
