About 260k miles and Lately my 2005 Prius cold start very rough especially when the hybrid is charging on starting the car, rough idle decreases once hybrid charging stops and it has happened in the past few years as well but harder this year and this year these p0300, 01 and p2 codes popped up, hybrid battery died already and replaced once with those cylindrical cells and 12v battery in good condition, oil has been burnt in the last but it kind of fixed itself as I am not seeing a lot of drop when replacing, since these new codes popping up I am having decreased torque and engine vibrating heavily while at low speeds, changed all the spark plugs but codes still popping up, I don't want to spend more than another 300 to 400$ on the car, what are anyone's thoughts on keeping this car going on for another 10 to 20k miles, thank you.

If the engine isn't "using" (losing) coolant, then my first guess is that you could have bad ignition coils.

Me, I would replace all 4 with Toyota or Denso from a reputable source.

The cheap way is to mark the cylinder numbers on your coils then swap 1 with 4 and 2 with 3. Clear codes and see which come back.

If you now have P0303 or 304 then replace those coils. If still P0301 or 302, then it's something else - fuel injector or engine compression.

Started the car this morning and it's still that rattle going on, did not show p0300 but only 0301 and 02, when I put new spark plugs yesterday I dont know if I put them back in the same order but will try switching them today and see if that's the coil issue, not sure if pcv needs to be changed as I am sure it hasn't been changed in over 200k miles, and the engine coolant level is full so it's not burning coolant, strangely when I rev up during idle the rattle goes away, idk if intake manifold is gunked up and got no clue how to clean that, thank you.

How do the mass airflow sensor (MAFS), throttle body and plate look? Have you cleaned them? If you cleaned them, did you reset the ECM (by disconnecting the 12 V battery)?

They all look great, changed 1 and 2 fuel injectors with aftermarket ones and it completely fixed the issue but I can't seem to stop fuel leaking from those 2 injectors, might have to buy stock injectors and replace them, thank you.
