I'm one of the beta testers of V3.

    Conclusions first:

    • Driving experience is the same as V2.x. Also, there is not much difference in mpg.

    • Eliminate all sensor’s wiring harnesses and make the installation much easier.

    • According to google, the lifespan of sodium cells is about 10 years. To me, this is a must.

    • Don’t worry about warranty, Jack’s support is excellent.

V3 was installed on my 2011 Prius 3 in early March. It took 2 hours. After confirming all the connections, the vehicle fired up immediately. Compared to the first time, it took 2 days, including half days cleaning copper bars. I was extremely careful on each step.

I drove daily on local, multi stops, short trips. In the past 5 months, it has gotten 2k miles. The odometer read 130k miles. On average , it got 47 mpg . V2.x was 49 and Nimh was 45.5. My Nimh was degraded but still worked fine, without errors.

I am quite happy with the product and the support I received. Hopefully, my Prius will serve me another 10 years with provened “trouble free”.

2 months into new sodium battery usage with 0 issues and averaging 52 mpg(calculated). Can run my AC in stop/go traffic during 45 min commute without engine having to start. 20240811_102311.jpg

    A little history:
I replaced my OEM hybrid battery on May 29-30 with Jack's lithium battery.
I had 340,763 Miles. I saw much improvement in city driving. From 38mpg, to
42mpg. Highway went from 42mpg(low I'm guessing because of a low hybrid btry)
to 46mpg. That's without really trying to get better mpg.

I'dling with a/c on I saw longer time on the battery less engine running time.
Driving from a cold engine, slowly, I was able to to to 10mph before the engine cut in.
It was 9. And I was able to drive further on the battery, about 50% more Which was
    really good.
Over all, I was very happy with the lithium battery.
Installation was straightforward and easy. The only issue was I must not have set the
safety disconnect all the way. Once I did, no issues!

Installed the Sodium battery on September 19th.
Jack said that these blocks were slightly wider, and it would be a tighter fit.
He was right. I only loosened the two bolts at the end furthest from the fan.
I was only able to loosen one bolt at fan end only one loosened. The other one
just spun the rod and started to bend the brace at the other end. After I got it
all together I loosened it, just in case, for the next time.
The final version will likely be thinner so installation will be easier.

The whole assembly was even lightler than the lithium pack.
No issues this time on the first start. I was happy.

Now on cold starts I can stay at 10mph longer before the engine kicks in.
And driving on just the battery is even longer than the lithium. It's just about 50%
more than the lithium, and the same for excelleration!

The hottest I could get the battery is 104 degrees. I tried. After it sat in the 90+ degree
heat for 6 hours, and driving without a/c, and slow enough to not let the engine start until
the battery got low enough for the engine to kick in.

My mileage increased to 48mpg, without even trying, and to 50mpg if I drive easier.
Highway mileage without drafting is back up to 48mpg, with drafting it's 52mpg.

I notice a big difference from the lithium battery. Temps are low, and stay low, longer
distance on battery only. This is a great battery!

And reponse from Jack has been great! Helpfull on everything, quick reponse, explained
    everything. Great Experience!

I would highly recommend this battery, and Jack!

    @ASRDogman
Why did you remove the lithium battery and install the sodium battery in September?
Did you have a problem with the lithium battery?

No problems with the lithium battery.
Jack asked if I would test it for him, and I said okay.
I'm glad he extended the offer, and that I excepted.
I almost didn't. I had read the comments about him, both good and bad.

But when I ordered the lithium battery, it was back ordered. So I put my name on the
list. A few days later I got an email, like the site said. I went to his site, ordered the
battery. I received a conformation a few minutes later saying I would be sent a tracking
number when the order was ready. It was maybe an hour? I received the tracking number.
3 days later, the battery was delivered. Remarkably fast! California to Florida in 3 days?
They usually hold it for a week before it even leaves the state!

He send the link for the instalation.
It was a very positive experience and exactally as it said it would be.

So I said sure, I'll test it. I wasn't looking forward to taking everything apart again.
I've been very busy and finding time to do it, and the energy. I'm antique, and not so easy
    to do stuff anymore.

I could care less what anyone else says about him or his product. He has treated me right
    and the battery is GREAT!

Many people on Prius Chat are just looking for any reason to whine and complain and bad mouth
someone probably because they've made bad decisions and want other people to suffer along
    with them.(y)

I would volunteer that battery technology continues to improve. So I replaced my Gen 1 traction battery pack that was still working with a rebuild using Gen 2 battery modules. There was a barely noticeable improvement in Prius performance, I'm a calm driver, but the pack ran significantly cooler. It went 270,000 miles before the impossible to replace, brake booster failed.

Good to see some recognition for his hard work!
0 issues with my sodium pack, averaging 52mpg even as the temps drop.

My best was 73mpg on todays thanksgiving drive.

Was doing like 75mph and the monitor showed an average speed of 68 but taking pictures of the monitor sometimes glitches out and the image gets blocked.
