2010 Prius I 257,000 miles ran fine but very suddenly didn't. Worth repairing

    We picked it up this morning and drove the 115 miles back home over some hilly roads. Drove it more tonight. So far so good!

    Update 8 months later- still running great. Car STILL doesn't burn any oil and engine runs smoothly.

    Was the EGR system, including intake manifold cleaned? If not I would look into that soon. See first 2 links in my signature. Again, if on a phone turn it landscape to see signatures. (y)
