Interesting location. Used to be a HomeTown Buffet at that site. Ate dinner there a few times before leaving the state. Like most smorgasbords they went out of business. On the one hand it's RIGHT off the freeway. VERY convenient. On the other hand it's about a mile from the Federal & Superior Courts. Clerking for a short while at the public defender's office, i came in one morning to find little catholic candles burning & plastic flowers set up representative of last night's memorial/murder. Ie - not the safest location. California crime is higher than the national average, and Santa Ana violent crime is 11% higher than Calif's average. The video says they will provide security. Those guards better be wearing vests. i wish them luck - they definitely poured a lot of money into the location. .

I must be spoiled; my calculated breakeven for gas operations is around $0.40/KwH. Why waste time waiting for a charge, when you can just gas-n-go; unless you need the break yourself.... I guess for people who can't plan ahead, your paying for convenience - those are usually the same people who's unprepared and late all the time with some sort of 'dog ate my homework' excuse.
I just stop at a fast food place for bathroom and sack snack and then go to the SuperCharger to eat and stretch. Bob Wilson
At superchargers, it's a great opportunity to clean bugs off the front of the car, road dust off the back of the car & any splash up that happens around the wheel fenders. We would use this stuff during supercharger stops & man it works great. It made our relatively short stops of 15 minutes go by extra quick. A few sprays later & paint is looking shiny new Because some times you just don't need to eat - stretch or pee .
it sounds good, but many charger locations are in the middle of nowhere. handy for charging maybe, but you need a good book
In the last 12 years I have stopped at only one charger that had only a gas station nearby. Every other one was near (less than half a block) either a restaurant, strip mall, hotel or more than one of those.
