I’m still trying to decide if “hoes in the clap mobile” is an innocent typo.

Sometimes one might prefer a bit of mystery to knowing all the details.

I can see the top end of that hose; it drops down, and can't see too far where it's going. Guessing it's coolant, and maybe headed for the Exhaust heat Recovery system? Not that large a diameter though. Could also be coming round to the throttle body (if coolant).

Without pulling off the air box I can't really see, and I'm not that ambitious, at least not this early in the morning. Will take a look in my Repair Manual bootleg.

Repair Manual pic, kinda useless, but at least confirms there's two hoses involved:

Had nothing else happening, took some pics of our ‘10 Prius hatchback ( should be same).

The lower hose going into the throttle body:

is the other end of the one you show, plugged with o2 sensor. It may be cut short, require replacement.

the upper hose coming off throttle body ends up here:

^ hard to see, right in middle of pic, partially hidden behind EGR pipe. It’s going into a T on side of steel pipe there:

I wonder where the liquid flows out of the fitting onto which the hose should be attached?
Nobody has cancelled the circulation of liquid, hasn't they?

It’s two hoses, branching out to throttle body and returning. I think if OP were to remove engine air box and take a few clear photos, all would be revealed.

basically a throttle body coolant delete.
