    Nuke plants are a financing racket for the people who get paid first because they know cost overuns and delays will cause the effort to fail. But as long as these criminals get paid first, they'll keep selling their energy snake oil to unwitting investors.

    The article doesn't leave a lot of room for doubt- they've committed a huge pile of money to doing this, and they are to be the exclusive recipient of the resulting power.

    Makes me feel even better about installing solar and getting into the generating game.

    According to this and other articles, Microsoft wants this plant's entire output. Datacenters are already taking too much energy out here in Microsoft's home state.
    What other investors are involve in this project, beside Microsoft?
