The grill look is way too small ..... should extend it all the way to the doors

Toyota Newsroom web site says 13 gallons (49 L). Pretty sure they kept the same 13.2 gallon (50 L) gas tank as the last Camry Hybrid so they probably rounded it off. Funny thing is Europe hasn’t even mentioned the new Camry even though the 2024 is for sale. I usually get some nice cross check from them.

No mention in Australia - very vague by TOYOTA. TOYOTA stopped taking orders for Camrys at least 6 months ago - the website basically says "keep looking - but we're out". It seems we're not getting any newly ordered 2024s coming here, but there are still plenty being "sold" every month - from what they indicated was several years of back-orders.

And the 2025 has been promised late this year.

Oddly enough, those on the media test drives said the mileage wasn't as good but they all had the caveat that it was too short and they may have been pre-production units. No one has had one for a week or a long term test yet.

I would imagine the difference between the two will be incremental and the bigger change would be whether you like the interior and exterior design and perhaps if there's any feature you want in either one that isn't present in the other.

Been away - enjoying a Suzuki Swift Sport Manual - not as sophisticated as the PRIUS, but fun.

I'd tried buying a Camry (or Corolla) but waiting times of 2 years, I decided to try something else as a short-term fun car.

But - now might move back when Camry stocks return to normal - hopefully in next 6 months with the new version.

The redesign is getting a power boost, so the typical real world will probably be lower, and Toyota's estimates reflect that. Drive for efficiency, and the results could be close to the old. The next big difference is the availability of AWD in the new. For Australia, maybe Toyota will drop the higher octane requirement.

Otherwise, getting the out going model for a daily driver would seem the better option, and avoid the new model bugs.

Little hatchbacks are fun even when not a sports trim.

The only difference may be in the infotainment "software" as 2 years in that space can make a difference.

Those initial reviews didn't mention it, but the new Camry will have TSS 3.0.

Look into the Prius and other new models for an idea on whether the latest infotainment and ADAS is worth waiting.

Is the 0HEV badge on the back new to the 2025?
If so, I was behind a recently purchased one.

Rented a '21 Prius in SoCal last week & tried their Lane assist? Geez I felt like I was on Mr Toad's Wild ride. It's got to be better than that.

Hey guys! I have been away for a while, enjoying my 2017 Prius. Unfortunately it got T-Boned this week & is likely totalled.

I think this new Camry LE may be a good replacement but I have just started looking. I looked at the first video here & the insode shot of the Prius looks hideous IMO.

I still do not like the big black grille but feel I have no other real choice.
