Hello All, My Prius is at 220k, getting approx. 41 MPG with normal Michelin tires. I change me oil every 5k, current flavor is Quaker State Ultimate 5w30. I've been getting most parts from Rock Auto. My current running on oil filters is WIX 51516. A bit larger than stock but fits well in the space provided. I decided to cut open the filter. Just because I was curious. Overall I believe it is a quality filter. Anti-Drain back valve was still soft and flexible after 5k, metal end caps, spring loaded bypass valve, no cardboard. Here's some pictures of the filter cut open. Hope this helps others.
I use the filter that goes in my Toyota van on the Prius It's about the size of what you have here but ours doesn't come apart We just untwist it and throw it away.TG 3600 is number.
In that filter that he's running I have no idea in the 3600 which is a Toyota filter I'm sure it's whatever Toyota recommends generally oil pop off valves are or somewhat universal for most passenger car type engines and whatnot there was a big hullabaloo about all this back in the '80s that went on for a few years I would assume it's all been ironed out by now
