Camry hybrid XLE Houston P0A80 code

    My 2015 Camry Hybrid XLE needs hybrid battery replacement.Mileage 118k. Car is in great condition otherwise. Code P0A80 confirmed by toyota dealers. Any recommendations for OEM battery replacement in Houston other than toyota dealers who are quoting 8k. Thank you

    Do any maintenance yourself? Remove the covers and take a peak at the battery. There have been some cases where the problem is just corrosion of the bus bars connecting the battery modules.

    Thanks. I did the cleaning and replaced 2 cells but lasted only 50 miles/ one week before the sign came back on and battery health is 29%. Houston heat ( car is parked in hot sun in open 5 days a week) may have played a role.
