Yeah that's not too bad I haven't called the dude to ask him anything about it but seems reasonable The warranty really doesn't matter to me because when I have to invoke that warranty all the labor to swap the engine in and out is not going to be covered so there's that. I don't trust a lot of the rebuilding that's going on in the world right now.
I agree, it's too bad a lot of bigger shops don't really care if they piss off a customer. We're a small "boutique" shop keeping our head down and relying on our quality versus numbers. We're not the cheapest either. You get what you pay for and we provide our highest attention to customer satisfaction. Period. Thanks Tombukt2
Notice the hybrid pit decal and bar code; curious what the purpose of the original Toyota decal was. It is just a stick-on. What I'm seeing on mine (attached):
It’s the engine model number. A JDM is X2ZR-W20. The next question is there a date code embedded in the other numbers? Mendel’s 2010 North American A JDM Engine of unknown date
