Anybody else notice this? In certain lights when viewing from drivers seat I see cloudy white haze all over this part of dashboard. Wiping it with water and microfiber cloth makes no difference. I've seen some other Prius photos/videos having similar issues in that area. Wonder if it is just the way the material is or if its a quality issue. Thanks.
I’ve seen this too on my 2024 Prius Prime SE. I only see it in certain lighting conditions at certain angles, so I haven’t given it much thought.
Mine is like this too. I think that’s just the way it is. I even saw it on car review videos when the car was first announced.
You can see at the beginning of this video. Kind of strange if it was purposely designed like this, which it does seem that way since it is like this in every vehicle. Does not really bother me. But I can see why people might think it is defective or something is wrong with it.
My dashboard looks like that too, sort of a strange discoloration. 2023 Prime SE. It goes away for awhile when I use apply a interior cleaner/detailer spray and work it in, but eventually the discoloration comes back after awhile once the interior cleaner/detailer wears off.
I used Meguiar's Ultimate Interior Detailer (G16216). I think it works "ok". Takes quite a bit to coat the dash/interior before it makes much of a difference IMO.
Mine looks like this as well. I thought it was off-gassing because of the new plastics, but I have been unable to clean it off.
