This custom modified Gen 3 Prius shifter allows placing your car into all modes with a quick movement of the tip of your index finger..

No need to take your eyes off the road, if you get a push button shifter.

No need to grab the odd shaped OEM shifter with all five fingers to shift. The knob is centered for intuitive location by feel while safely keeping the drivers eyes on the road.

    About $80 delivered.

I'll have to talk to my dad's friend who made several of these about 3 years, ago.

I've never listed a private sale, so it's new to me. I have a sizeable number of aluminum Prius compatible magnetic drain plugs and might include them at the same price as a service to fellow Priuschat enthusiast.

Let us know how we can help... If we could find a company to build them for a low price and then the builder and your dad's friend could get paid a percentage for every one sold. I think there's a significant market for these, especially if there was one for Gen2, 3, and 4.

My main interest is these will allow you to move the shifter to a different location so you can customize the interior into a more spacious design. The push button ones from Japan are great, but way too expensive.

He's not really interested in making any profit but to help Prius owners enjoy his work in retirement just to keep his mind sharp.

Being in his 70's and well invested in his retirement, he is not interested in really making money.

So, I contacted him, and he just want to sell off what he has laying around at cost and no more.

The shifter's are carefully modified, since he is a retired aerospace machinist.

The knobs are made of PEEK (polyetheretherketone) polymer.

Anyone interested can send me a PM.
