Can anyone recommend a budget battery for my 2008 Prius here in the UK.

Most websites are saying Yuasa HJ-S46B24R at £188.00 and i don't want to spend that kind of money.

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks

That's a very good brand of 12 volt battery that we can't really easily get the states anymore I have their micro whatever it is batteries in my power sports equipment for 20 years right after Deka vanished. You can look on Amazon at universal batteries in the same power amp hour and size range they can be as low as $75 so about half price getting you much lower than that I'm probably no help batteries have gone up across the board no matter what you personally want to do

£188 is about US$240, and I suspect the universal batteries will be more expensive than US$75 (£59) in the UK.

I don't know man they can do things electrically a lot different in other places sometimes those you be batteries are used in fire alarms and lights to help people get out of fires and big buildings hanging up on the wall etc etc I don't know necessarily that his location will change the price all that much but somebody here just bought one for something like that we were just talking about it the other day on somewhere on here I think they paid 75 80 bucks. Which is not unreasonable I want to try one of those little noco larger than my motorcycle battery which is a 14 TX I think or something like that our battery in the Prius is more like the motorcycle battery the 30 model or something now they have these in lithium just for starting and running the electronics seemingly it should be a no-brainer most of the batteries have the charging circuit and all the stuff built in the battery so all it needs is input from a stator alternator or what have you The battery manages the rest and it weighs nothing I see them on the marketplace brand new these guys are getting them on pallet deals they're selling them for like $75 with the stacking plates.
