More likely, intentional defeat or removal of the emission controls.

Same can be said about many gasoline cars on the road. They are just harder to spot, but just as harmful.

Come on, everyone knows it's a result of all the wind turbines making "infrasound" that caused {insert conspiracy illness/death here} and the fumes from the electric cars ... and solar panels absorbing the sunlight .... When are they going to correlate the effects of wind turbines and solar panels causing the wild weather? If it wasn't for those big fans generating all that wind and the solar panels absorbing all the sun light, there wouldn't be such heavy rain storms and strong winds .... wake up sheeple ...... Do your own research, go outside at night, it's dark isn't it, the solar panels absorbing the sun light that's causing that ......

I had noticed several coughs in my recent travels and one lay report of a new variant. So I checked:

    Sincerest apologies.
    You are absolutely correct.

    My mistake......
While I used the product as intended, "mistakes were made" ;)

Balanced reasoning often requires taking the entire situation into account.

“It is admitted that the AZ vaccine can, in very rare cases, cause TTS. The causal mechanism is not known,” AstraZeneca said in court documents in February, the newspaper reported.
(Quoted from the article in post 6750)

The true death toll of COVID-19 estimating global excess mortality (who.int)
"With the latest COVID-19 deaths reported to WHO now exceeding 3.4 million, based on the excess mortality estimates produced for 2020, we are likely facing a significant undercount of total deaths directly and indirectly attributed to COVID-19."
(Updated for 2024 the deaths would be significantly more)

COVID-19 vaccines prevented nearly 20 million deaths in 1 year (medicalnewstoday.com)
    • "A new study estimates that COVID-19 vaccines helped avert 19.8 million deaths across the globe during the first year after vaccination campaigns were initiated."
Have no intention of resurrecting this nonsensical debate about vaccines - will add facts for people to rationally make balanced reasonings and inferences.

AstraZeneca's vaccine is not a mRNA one, but a traditional type of vaccine.

Vaccine uptake is down, it’s not going to be profitable for every mfg, even at the crazy prices they are charging

wondering if any other covid formulas (world wide) may end up being pulled due to safety concerns. Over the decades - many have benefited from one perscription /chemical or another that eventually gets deemed its burdens are outweighed by its benefits.

The headlines for those links are altered to make it sound like AstraZeneca was being forced to withdraw from the market by the EU authority. If you look at all of it, the market has fallen off and AstraZeneca is withdrawing it from the European market. While there were cases of blood clots after using their vaccine, the blood clots were also a symptom of Covid 19 with or without the vaccine.

There was a side note in the ABC link that said over 20 Million people survived the pandemic that would not have without a vaccine.

With at least 40 vaccines approved somewhere globally, that seems likely.

E.g. JnJ became variously disfavored or restricted after its problems, though rare, clearly exceeded those of other available choices. While never actually pulled here, manufacturing ceased, and the last doses expired a year ago. Some details on other products can be fished out of here:

    This just in:

The World Health Organization (WHO) has said a man’s death in Mexico was caused by a strain of bird flu called H5N2 that has never before been found in a human.

The WHO said Wednesday it wasn’t clear how the person became infected. “Although the source of exposure to the virus in this case is currently unknown, A(H5N2) viruses have been reported in poultry in Mexico,” it said in a statement.
    . . .
The 59-year-old man, who had been hospitalised in Mexico City, died on 24 April after developing a fever, shortness of breath, diarrhoea, nausea and general discomfort, the WHO said.

Mexico’s health ministry added in a statement on Wednesday that there had so far been no evidence of person-to-person transmission of bird flu in the case of the man who died, and that he had several prior health conditions. All people who had contact with him have tested negative, it said.

In March, Mexico’s government reported an outbreak of A(H5N2) in an isolated family unit in the country’s western Michoacan state, but said at the time it did not represent a risk to distant commercial farms, nor to human health.

After the April death, Mexican authorities confirmed the presence of the virus and reported the case to the WHO, the agency said.

    Round 2?

    Hardly.
I think I've read about 2 non-fatal cases in the US - but unlike the 'vid this does not present as a lab leaked bug. (yet.)

Isn't Round 2 already old history? We've been around this pole many times, with varying results.
