Replaced the stock kick stand for the hood today and was surprised at how fast they lifted the hood up.

    Very happy with this upgrade.

Part numbers? Also that brake fluid is looking pretty dark.

Just search TSUBASA lift supports for Toyota Prius XW30 on Amazon.

Yea I noticed and have known I need to change it out.

Taking it in for a FREE alignment and brake check tomorrow.

Noticed the front rotors were worn down a lot on the inside today after doing my oil change, so will need to get those done too very soon.

these wont fit prius v WAGON in case someone follows this and makes my mistake lol these are around 11.8" compressed and around 17" extended.

for Wagon Prius 3rd gen you need struts that compressed size is under 10" and extended to 13.5"

Not sure why hydraulic hood lifters are a thing. Ditto for the covers on the inverter, and the engine coolant reservoir. The one thing that seems somewhat useful, and esthetically pleasing, is the small cover on bare wires going into the computer.

The one benefit I can see for the engine coolant reservoir cover: when you're head gasket goes you won't be stressing over dropping coolant level.
