Run cooling fan while charging traction batteries

    I just began charging my traction with a Bguad 4 channel charger. My question is, how can I run the battery cooling fan while charging the batteries? I have a separate 14 volt D C power supply to do that. The connector for the fan has 4 pins. I do not know which 2 pins to apply power to and which polarity. I am not charging adjacent batteries, but batteries might still get hot.

    I've never figured out those 4 pins either in Gen3 Prius... The Gen 2 Prius fan only has two pins, so I've just used a spare fan from Gen2 whenever I've worked on Gen3 and Prius C. You can get them at a junk yard for cheap!

    Or you could rig up your own cooling with a 110v AC fan and some ducting?

    However, maybe someone like @ChapmanF can tell us how to power up the fan in gen3?

    I do know that companies like Hybrid Automotive have built a fan controller box for all their harnesses and won't sell the box seperately form their over-priced wiring harness. However I did buy a couple fan controller box from them for Gen2 for $15 each because it was a warranty claim, so maybe calling them as a warranty claim without documentation could get one for you of you're extra nice?

    When I'm using my Venice charger the battery will get I don't know man 110 115°. The whole rack I don't generally bother with that because by that time the 5 minutes of voltage change aren't seen anymore on the Venice display and it's recommended to disconnect the charger at that point the battery is taken what it's going to take If one was really worried about it I just take my shop fan and leave the hatch up and blow right across the whole mess this is like a 24-in or 30-in fan and then while doing this it might be pulled into my air conditioned little space and then nothing should really be getting too too hot let's face stays about 74 or 76° somewhere right in there no matter what it is outside.

    Already did, here. Power and ground on pin 1 and pin 4, respectively. Pin 3 tells the fan how fast you want it to run, if you supply a pulse train where the percentage of time it spends low corresponds to how much of full speed you want. So if you just ground that too, you're asking for full speed.
