Hello! I am interested in purchasing a 2013 Prius Persona series! I love the color, it's the limited black cherry pearl paint. Price tage of $9,995 (one previous owner). I know to use the Toyota app/website with the VIN lookup to gather all the specifications you need to know too. However I am confused about the "grade" under the Basic Vehicle Information section. It states THREE SE. Could anyone share some knowledge on what this means? My first thought is "sport edition", but the three doesn't make sense to me. Is that the engine grade? I've tried searches such as "2013 Toyota Prius Three SE grade meaning" but my question is still unanswered/all the more confused. I thought the persona series was the highest tier trim, but I saw from Autoblog the Three SE was a lower trim (I cannot link it as I am so new to this community). Now I have to ask, what ranged of a trim level am I looking at here? I have posted the photos from the Toyota app to help with clarification. Thank you for all the help!
How many miles on her? Before purchasing a gen 3, we always recommend searching and learning about the egr circuit, and head gasket issues
It is 170k miles, I haven't seen the car in person yet, I was hoping it'd be worth it to take a look and have it inspected by my mechanic. Do you know what the grade THREE SE means?

late to the game here. I drive a persona. It's a 3 with 17" wheels and pleather seats, and one additional badge on it. hope this helps someone in the future.
I'd tread cautious with that; with those miles there's a good chance of failing head gasket, maybe masked by stop leak product. If the EGR system and intake manifold have never been touched (most haven't), head gasket failure's a certainty. The coolant level in the reservoir being low is one danger sign. Anyone with a enough smarts add stop-leak will likely top up the reservoir too, but you never know. Maybe an oil burner too. 'Till partway through model year 2014 toyota used low-tension piston rings, got them a few 10ths of a mpg, and left owners with oil eaters. Again, seller may have just topped up the oil, but doesn't hurt to check. Brake booster too: if you test drive, listen for how frequently the brake pump cycles. If it's regularly cycling, say every minute or less, it's on the way out. If it's less than 15 seconds, it's very near the end.
