Would 1.5 inch spacers be too much for stock wheels?

I'm using 195/65r15 tires on 15 inch OEM rims, would I have any problems with scraping/reliability issues if I install some 1.5 inch spacers from ebay?

My Prius isn't lowered or raised at all either, any info I found online was for people who had lift kits. There doesn't seem to be anything under the fenders that would cause any problems, just looking to see if anyone has any first-hand experience before I buy them

I suppose your lug nuts won't thread on.

Thick enough spacer will move the rim's hub hole completely beyond the hub, and reduce the engaged threads on the lug nut to wheel stud connections. That hub only projects out (beyond the usual surface the rim contacts) about 6 mm, at most?

Now you've got wheel restrained only by lug nuts, and reduced threads to boot.

It's mostly defined by quality/durability of hardware you're going to use. At 1.5 inches you're gonna need longer bolts to hold the wheel on. Sometimes when people do this they replace everything from bearings all the way out, which probably is smartest and most reliable way. But you gotta go down a pretty deep rabbit hole of precise measurements to find the parts that fit the best.
