Was looking at either one of these https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sku/9597106.p?skuId=9597106 Alipne ^ Kicker ↓ https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sku/3526208.p?skuId=3526208 Anyone done it yet or know if it would fit, and hook up relatively easy from professional installer? Have reached out to a few local installers a d they are unsure since "car is so new".
I did. It adds some depth to the bass, but definitely still a little lacking. I'm happy with it though.
after seeing this yt video, i inquired about the 5th gen prius and here's the response. Sorry nothing for your vehicle at present. However, if you’re so inclined, please visit our home page (scroll to the bottom) and let us know about your vehicle. We’ll use that to gauge interest and keep you informed if we pursue your vehicle. https://oemaudioplus.com/
Honestly, setting aside lack of subwoofer I'm really amazed at just how far stock audio has come. While not quite as punchy or clean as my amplified 6 speaker kicker KS series speakers I got years ago when I worked at best buy with a wild new dealer price package (it was around 30% MSRP to get us to buy to then sell to folks), the SE prime has great speakers stock to the system all things considered. A future easy integrated small subwoofer would be really cool though.
can you list the ones you have learned that fit underneath the front seat? your recommendation? the oemaudioplus solution looks very integrated and i expect it to be priced at a premium.
Adding spacers to raise the seat slightly allows for both options initially in this thread. Raising the seat without spacers (slightly) allow the Kicker to fit too. Would just add spacers. Drivers side. I could be wrong but the alpine I think smaller profile than the kicker. So using those templates or smaller for sizing, all things considered.
