Well I officially bought my new Gen 2 from Tampa hybrids. Todd's reputation is well e as earned.
    Navigation
This one is a 2008 touring package 6. Well ahead of its time. Bluetooth, 6 CD changer jbl speakers , navigation, a place to put reminders for service such as oil changes , tire rotations leather seats and I don't even know what else.
They put in a new hybrid and starter battery and abs system. It was owned by a retired couple. Only 89200 miles.

That's exactly like the car I picked up in Raleigh North Carolina although mine has 170,000 on it smooth leather interior that sounds like a nice shot right there so take care of it I mean it's in Florida so I guess it's been out in the sun and everything is good with it

It originally was a Illinois car but I think they were snowbirds cause it was only serviced at the dealership in the summer. It then was register in fl. They is no rust. Carfax shows every oil change at 5k at the dealership. It has only been service there. The dealership told me it was a re tired couple who owned it.

Your car sounds nice. Are you going to keep it or sell it. Too bad we can't post pictures

On the funny side while driving it. Out of nowhere fell the previous owners credit card on the passenger seat.
I looked up the owner and she told me the card was still active and she lost it in October. She had been monitoring the bank accounts it was linked to. I mailed it back to her.
She told me her husband named it sparky. A wild pig fell in love with the car and would rub against it making pig noises. Between her 7 brothers and sisters, they have owned a prius every year they have been out.
It doesn't seem to have the gas tank issue. I got 544 miles on my 1st tank.

If it's been driven by people that own Prius like that then it's been in the wind all its life and that's about what it should be getting I get around 500 on a beater 09 in North Carolina predominantly on flat land I never see the 53 mi to the gallon on the dooflachie there on the dash but I run about 500 mi in gas up I do that just by what I put in the tank and the miles.

Wow. What a great Find. But sure to use vinyl/ leather cleaner on it and it will last you a very long time. Well Done. Just watch out for Cat thieves.
