2023/4 Prius Prime plug in what are best EV Range you’ve heard people get?

    I have a RAV prime XLE which is supposed to get 42 EV miles. I have lived in low speed areas with little to no highway driving. I have been averaging 58-62 ev miles, all charging at sea level (no downhills) and the display shows from 58 to as high as 60 for EV range after a full charge.
    Since the Prius Prime is also advertised as 42 mile EV range, I wonder how high people can get driving not on highways and driving in flat areas. I wonder if 60 EV miles is possible without cheating. (And by cheating I mean charging at a higher altitude and benefitting from driving all downhill.).

    Highest was 57 miles in Western NY in September on mix of local roads and average speed of 45-50 with some 65mph thrown in. Definitely better range at lower speeds. With snow tires and lower temperatures range is about 40 miles.

    Wow 57 with an average speed of 45-50. With My RAV4 Prime I average 58-62 regularly but I’m driving below 45 most of the time and lots of gliding to stop signs or red lights. When I get over 45 I can’t keep that same range.

    My best so far on an XSE Premium is 52 miles with no net altitude change. Hard to do in CO! :) I only count round trips. That included some interstate driving.

    While not official, I was surprised to get 39.8 miles on a one-way trip in 32F weather with heat (HVAC, steering wheel, and butt warmer) a few days ago. That trip did have a 600 foot drop from start to HV kicking in.
