I gotta admit, I really like what Toyota has done with the Corolla Hybrid. And the Crown, holy moly, that thing is gorgeous!

I just saw a first....two new Priis on the highway at the same time...super sharp!

I briefly saw a guardian-gray 2023 Prius LE (no light bar) from behind last night. Actually, this time it looked very good! It has a very round, refined design. I guess the perception varies depending on how you look at it.

@Trollbait, it still looked nothing like a Tesla.

Sometimes they're called 4-door vs. 5-door vehicles. I've also seen the distinction described if the rear glass lifts up with the trunk or not.

For the measurements of the trunk space and rear door, Wayne has a detailed writeup over at CleanMpg: https://www.cleanmpg.com/community/index.php?threads/57050/page-4

I see at least 5-7 new 2023 Priuses every single day here in the wealthy eco friendly part of Portland Oregon between Nike and intels headquarters. They are probably more common than a basic mustang

I just returned from two weeks in Japan. PLENTY of the new Prius on the road there, although I couldn't really tell how many were Primes. They look great in Japan too!! My family got tired of me saying "there's my car!".

The release announcement for the Prime/PHV stated Japan delivery was going to be 450 cars a month. Also, they are just getting the top trim. Unlikely you saw one.

Thats where I saw it for real the first time as well and decided to buy one - prime too. They can be easily identified via the rims.
Did not see a single one yet in europe... might get mine before the year is over than that will be very likely the first I see here.

We just got back from a 5200+ mile road trip from Denver to Florida, Connecticut, then back. I'm compiling a report about it. While we still haven't seen another Gen5 in Colorado yet, we saw three on the trip. White one in GA, Black one on I-70 somewhere out east (forgot where) and then another white one in Hays, KS. The first two were on the road and unable to get the drivers attention and the one in Hays was just parked on the street. For the latter it was at night under a bit of a weird street light and with the car being Wind Chill Pearl, it did a really neat shimmer that was impressive! Since I knew I was going to be getting a "reject", I was secretly hoping I'd be forced to get red, but if I had ordered a car it would have been that color and it looked really nice, especially at night. Still very happy with silver though.

I finally saw a gen 5 Prime in the wild yesterday. It was in southern Georgia on I-75 with Ontario plates. Unfortunately, it was only going about 55-60 mph in a 70 zone where most people wanted to go 75-80. It looked like he was dragging a huge glob of cars behind him as people merged to pass. He was an older fellow who perhaps wasn't comfortable with high speed driving?

Yes, he was in the right lane at least. If he had FL rather than Ontario plates, I would not have been surprised if he was in the far left lane.

Hmmm. I wonder if he was driving on a donut spare on the right side that I couldn't see.

That's an easy one to dismiss. The G5 has no spare. ;)

When we head to Florida, all the Ontario plates are doing 80 in the left lane

Neither did my '17 Prime ... till I bought one. Same with the PiP. Same with the Bolt. None came with spares. All soon had spares once I bought those cars. And I'm not the only one who knows how inconvenient a blowout would be on a dark rainy night in the middle of nowhere.
