Red triangle of death won't disappear after new 12V battery

    Electricity kept falling away and coming up again when the car was not 'on', until I noticed that it always came back on when touching the minus-pole of the battery. After I attached the cable from the negative pole to another point at the car body, electricity has been stable. I am not sure if the problem then was due to a rusty body or a bad connection of the cable at the old point.

    Hi Ben,
    You got lucky! Battery connections are always critical. There is a lot to learn about Priuses. Good luck with that process. Accept all the luck you can get, happily.
