Ok- now that I went through the dealer rigmarole, I can give the answer on what I paid (out the door)

    MSRP $ 28,545 Including Shipping
    Add-ons (from parts dept) 482
    Taxes and Fees 2,813
Total out the door price $ 31,840

Of course, the parts weren't in stock, and I'll have to have service install the mudguards and get the bumper protector and rubber inside mats next week.

That’s nice that California is offering those rebates through the state level. Unfortunately, where I live in Pennsylvania if you make anything more than a bare minimum living wage you don’t qualify for any state level tax credits or rebates.

Yeah here in NY the credits for PHEVs are paltry, and the high COL means that many relatively ordinary people (teachers, cops) are above the maximum income cutoffs for the Federal tax credits as well.

this is actually the primary reason I got the regular Prius and not the Prime, and not a Tesla lol

How do you like the black in person? From pictures it looks like lighter colors show the lines of the car better, but I ordered the same

It wasn't my first choice but I had a deadline to qualify for the California Clean Air Rebate and the markup at the dealer I purchased from was not crazy like the dealerships closer to where I live which where asking like 10k above msrp.

I do like it though. I think it looks pretty good. Got some compliments on it. Window tint really helped with preventing a hot car while sitting in the sun as far as I can tell.

Looking up close at the color it is almost like a really dark navy blue which is not well represented in pics I have seen online or in the one pic I have attached. You might be able to check it out on another model at a Toyota dealership since it is used on other models.

In this screenshot I took from a movie on my iPhone i filmed as I was trying to locate the jack guides under the rocker panel you can kind of see what I am talking about how it sometimes in certain lights and at certain distances looks like a really dark blue.

    Sorry for derailing the conversation.
Listen I have started 2 profile posts with you, but received no feedback and this happened some days ago!
Don't even know if it's my fault.
    Regards
    Alessandro

    Thanks for your replies
It's a bit cumbersome as a personal post system.
Edit 2: Thanks @bisco I edited something on my profile and stated a conversation!

Has anyone from the Southeast states (SC, GA, AL) been able to purchase a Prius Prime from Midwest or NE dealer at, or near, MSRP?

Prime XSE in Cutting Edge purchased 1 week ago in Beaverton, Oregon (suburb of Portland). This wasn’t my first choice in color or trim but I actually really like it now that I have it. Traded-in my ‘17 Prime to them and got $19,995 for it (Tesla offered me $13K). More than I thought I’d get considering it’s been in an accident. Then I waited about 2 months for the dealer to call me that one was available. Got paint protection film applied and window tinting done as well so an additional $1500 before out-the-door. Probably could’ve gotten that part slightly cheaper if I shopped around but eh. No financing. Got a hard sell for extended maintenance plan etc too but declined.

Put my 500 deposit to get on the list back in beginning of September. They called me today and my car is on the way. Have to drive 3 hours to get it so not too bad.
    XSE PREMIUM CUTTING EDGE
    39170 No mark up
    1075. Destination charges on sticker
    Just PA taxes
Can’t wait to get it. Dealer saying it is already being shipped so it shouldn’t be too long.
    Awesome
