Driver’s floor pad soaked

Last week I noticed that both the driver’s and passenger’s floor were absolutely soaked. I noticed the passenger side first and so I figured it was the ac drain hose. I accessed the hose from inside the car, under the glovebox after removing the fabric part of the interior. I undid the hose and a bunch of water and some dirt/sludge definitely came out. The floor pad took days to dry out (my wet vac is out of commission). This seems to have resolved the passenger side issue, but the drivers side is still soaked.

it hasn’t rained in my area for weeks, so I don’t suspect a leak in any seal. But most of what I’m seeing about finding that under-the-floor-mat area soaked is about the passenger’s side, not the driver’s side, and it’s diagnosed as an a/c hose clog. The fluid is definitely water. Also there’s no water in the spare tire area. I don’t have a sunroof.

Any ideas on what’s causing this? Could it still be related to the a/c?

Any chance someone else used your car and had an incident that had them walking around in water and then not taking their shoes off? Or a water bottle without the cap on tight rolling around?

In terms of drying out the inside of a car, we have to do that alot in the Pacific Northwest. Best method I've found is use a towel to get the worst of it and then put a significant size dehumidifier machine in the car. It will dry everything out real fast because it's such a small enclosed space.

No, no chance of this kind of incident.
