The Beat-Sonic US website currently only have the BRZ and GR86 version:
Beat-Sonic DSP-T101 DSP POWER AMP FOR 2022+ TOYOTA GR86 AND SUBARU BRZ

So maybe in the future they will start selling one specially tuned for the Prius

The Beat-Sonic Global has the page for Prius but not much info on it:
    https://beatsonicglobal.com/products/dsp-t305

I also don't want to mount it under the seat or take space in the glove box. I wish they can provide longer cable so we can mount it somewhere in the trunk.

Hmm, the extremely distorted electronic beats in that song would make even the most premium sound system sound like having a torn loudspeaker diaphragm; so, it is not saying much there.

Went for a joy ride tonight and queued up the Billie Eilish. "Bad Guy" has tighter bass. Maybe you'll like that one better.

Really cranked the stereo tonight and my opinion is even stronger that it blows my G4's away. Chest was thumpin' son. And the highs were crystal.

I'll take a photo of my EQ settings tomorrow.

I have the XLE, and I use Poweramp as my audio app via Android Auto. Poweramp has EQ settings that allow you to apply settings automaticaly for specific bluetooth devices, and it has a really nice multi-band equalizer, so I just spent around an hour one night tuning the EQ settings and got it to sound pretty decent.

Ended up going jbl on gen 5, had it on gen 3 was disappointed with gen 4 standard and ended up upgrading head unit to a kenwood with wireless android auto - the power amp power and clarity , eq and especially crossover settings made the factory speakers sound so much much better. I haven't had time to really even listen to the jbl in my gen 5 for comparison drove home from dealer after the 5 hour purchase ordeal then went on vacation. - to be fair I also wanted vented seats and some of the other upgrades like 12.3 and digital rear view mirror from the limited so audio wasn't the only reason for upgrade.

Listening to the gen 5 JBL it doesn't seem as good as my gen 3 JBL did per my memory (haha) and only marginally better than my Kenwood head unit only upgrade in my gen 4 with no JBL. I believe the audio isn't as clean which distorts eventually as you turn it up - the signal and active cross-over on my kenwood unit allowed me to adjust each speaker for optimal output.

How high are you turning it up lol? I have the base system and I found it a very nice upgrade from the base G4 system.

pretty loud i guess....9/10th - believe 50/60 or so close to max volume. Not as pleased as gen3 jbl or gen 4 non-jbl with new head unit. Bass is distorted and non existent from rear speakers. That said I am please with the car overall and probably dont need to further damage my hearing. A subwoofer addition and passive cross-overs would surely help - imo

I can't tell ... I have a 24 XSE but I didn't get the premium. So I think I have the basic speakers ... However after finding out how to tune them I'm pretty impressed actually. Rest of the tech in the car is not great especially the touch screen, it's awful. But I was surprised at the basic stereo sound. I was thinking of getting an under seat sub or something but after my car finally arrived at the dealer, I was supposed the most with the stereo ... well and how comfy the seats are ... and how peppy this prime is. Oh and the parking stuff and radar cruise was much better than I thought. But the touch screen is abysmal.
