2013 TPMS light blinks for 90 seconds, stays on for a minute, then disappears

Yes, it is. There is no need to replace it yet. I would wait until the weather gets cold and see if the light comes on and stays on. That would confirm a bad sensor. You could also use an OBD2 scanner or TechStream to confirm that one of the sensors is bad.

Not sure how the 2007 Gen 2 sensors work, but I would imagine, the same as Gen 3's.
Mine did that several months back. The battery is likely almost dead. And will eventually die.

I just received 4 sensors today. So sometime this week(hopefully), I'll be removing the wheels
and breaking the bead and replacing all 4. The D8 says it can't read one of the 4. So I'll move
the wheels far away from the vehicle until none are detected, then one by one bring each wheel
close to see which one it's not reading. And do that one first so if it's a royal pain, I only HAVE to
do one! For now...

 

My 2012 has gone through several episodes of this, on both my summer and winter wheel sets. It happened as much as a half dozen times in a single day on cross-state trips, then wouldn't repeat for weeks or even over a year. This started years before I eventually replaced the aging TPMS sensors when replacing the tires themselves, and none of the sensors ever actually failed for good. The new sensors have not (yet) exhibited this problem.

Updating my ScanGauge-II firmware allowed me to figure out which sensor had not been read for many minutes at a time, and show that its last seen reading before the warning was at a good pressure, not getting too low. But it always managed to get a new reading within 10-15 minutes, extinguishing the TPMS warning light. Symptoms didn't repeat enough times to further diagnose the issue.

I suspect this was somehow connected to RF transmission / reception problems or interference.
