Disable alarm gen 2, program key in techstream

    Ive searched the forum for hours and tried numerous things, so I will ask.

    I bought a 2005 Prius from auto auction without a key. This is my first without a key. When I connect the battery the alarm goes off. I disconnected the 2 main horns cant find the alarm horn, I removed the horn fuse and the #6 alarm fuse. The alarm still goes off

    My plan is to use techstrem to program a new key, however it would be ideal to at least disable the horn while I try to disable the alarm in techstream. And program a new key

    Has anyone done this before and can chime in on the best way to go about this? Does anyone have a techstream keygen for all keys lost? Any advice would be helpful.

    The alarm horn is down below I think it's on the brake reservoir side get your flashlight and look down in there You should be able to hear it real good when you get your head close or I have to go out and look at my other semi-strip car it's raining but I believe it's right down there your main horn for honking at people is in the front of the grill sometimes there can be two right up there or one cock to the side a little bit but the one that does the panicking and all that for the SKS and alarm is I believe right below the break reservoir down below the air conditioning line and what have you.

    Is this an aftermarket alarm system, or could there be another sensor (door, etc) triggering?
    Doesn't exist (could be wrong), but best bet is to use something like : Lexus, Scion, Toyota PASSCode Calculator / Generator: Calculate Pass-code by Seed number | Immobilizer Pincode Calculator

    There are a lot of numbers that can be rounded up and that people with experience with proximity sensors alarm systems and key making can probably get you straightened out with the tools that they have available to them today. The original remote or ones that came with the car had a sticker behind the black or silver logo on the remote that sticker houses the information that locksmiths and electronics people need to play with the system If they don't have that then there are scanning tools Toyota information service and all that nonsense and process that can yield you new codes etc The deeper this gets the more costly it gets obviously more time it takes so the moral of the story is to try and make sure you at least get one bad remote with a metal key that operates the driver door of the car that you are preparing to mess with If not just use that as a parts car. It's not worth spending 3 to $500 to do all that work to get a key made and you don't even know if the car is any good right?
